Fuel Cards to help BlazeAid Volunteers

It was our privilege to present fuel cards to Kerrie Bennett, the local coordinator for the Woolooga-based BlazeAid group on behalf of the UAVF. The group has been in action in the area since the first floods early in 2022. They are attending to fence repairs and replacement on 18 properties in the district. They have two teams each of four men, the oldest of whom is 82 years young. With three vehicles to run every day to transport volunteers, fuel is a major cost and increasing. The 3 vehicles are on loan from local entities to provide transport. BlazeAid has expressed sincere thanks for the support.
