Caloundra UAVF donation to DV Safe Phones

Recently our Caloundra Volunteers presented a donation of $1,000 to DV Safe Phones, a registered charity that supports domestic violence (DV) victims through gifting mobile phones to them, enabling safe, unmonitored access to emergency services and trusted friends, safety planning, evidence collection, social connection, childrens safety, and geolocation services. Now in their 5th year, this charity has gifted more than 11,000 phones to DV victims, through over 400 agencies around Australia, such as safe houses, police, hospitals, domestic violence agencies etc. and has built a nationwide alliance of more than 1000 phone collection partners.

If you have old mobile phones, you can donate these to a very worthy cause, helping to assist those in need - see more information on this Youtube video - https://youtu.be/mCPzGFHVFnc and the website https://dvsafephone.org/
