UKRAINE

The UAVF has been regularly sending donations to directly assist families suffering in or near the war zone. This is in conjunction with volunteers from our sponsored church – Ecumenical Apostolic Community – Ukraine, who will also seek to provide an uplift to the spirit of the people by hand-out of translated Words of Life, etc. and Pathfinders for the children. Funds have assisted two aid centres near the war zone, to provide food where needed, and to distribute warm clothing, blankets, etc., and also to provide a place where people can receive support and an uplift in morale. Often these centres are a place for children to stay while displaced from their homes. We always ensure that 100% of donations are used directly for those in need.
